The procedure required to manually reset the oil change light on the 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 is really simple and can be done by anyone on their own. The first thing to do is to make sure the vehicle is completely shut down. Then insert the key and turn on the instrument panel. Simultaneously press the accelerator pedal three consecutive times (within ten seconds). Once this is done, turn the ignition off and on again. At this point the reset is complete and the light should have disappeared for good.
