How do you replace the crankshaft speed sensor of the RAM 1500?

Model: RAM 1500 D1, DC, DH, DR, DM, MK 3 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Crankshaft position sensor

In order to replace the crankshaft revolution sensor of the RAM 1500, you need to go and lift the car, so that you can access the components in the lower part of the engine compartment: here it will be possible to locate the crankshaft revolution sensor, immediately behind the exhaust manifold. It will be possible to remove it by disconnecting the connector connected to it: in this way the sensor can be replaced with a new spare part, which must be suitably connected and fixed to its housing in the lower part of the engine block.
