To prevent dust and dirt from entering the ventilation system of the Renault Clio, a filter is installed on the intake section. To maintain its efficiency, periodically replace the filter element.

Open the bonnet of the engine compartment, remove the panel located under the windscreen on the passenger side by removing the push pin and sliding the seal sideways. Clean the surfaces and unscrew the two screws that secure the filter cover to open it, then remove the old filter and insert a new one. Close the cover and tighten it with the screws, reattach the panel securing it with the pin, and reinsert the seal.
