Start by pulling off the gear knob by gripping it with your hands and pulling upwards. Then, remove the gaiter, which also does not require any tools as it is installed by clipping.

Finally, move the lever at the base of the aforementioned lever using a small screwdriver, just as shown in the video, to release the catch, pull, and remove it as well.
