In order to remove the rear light of the Renault Megane, you need to open the rear hatch so that you can locate the side panel covering the light. Once this panel is removed, you can loosen the screw underneath to release the light from its housing.

At this point, the light assembly can be removed from its housing to disconnect the connector underneath. Then, you can connect the new light and insert it into its housing to ensure everything is working properly.
