How do you open the hood on a Renault Clio?

Opening the hood in this type of car is simple, but if it's your first time you may have some doubts. Sit in the driver's seat and look for the release lever, it is located under the dashboard on the left side near the door. Pull it firmly and you will hear a click. Now get out of the car and go in front of the hood, in the center just below the edge, there is a small safety latch. Move it to the side, usually to the left, and lift the hood. At this point, lock it with the support rod that is usually positioned on the side of the engine compartment. Now you can check the oil, coolant or anything else you need. It is not a complex operation and any driver should be able to do it, but if you don't feel confident, have it explained to you for the first time by your dealer or trusted workshop.
