How to clean the EGR valve of a 1.5 TDCi Renault/Nissan engine

In this video, we will see how to clean the EGR valve of a 1.5 TDCi engine of a Renault/Nissan car. First, we need to disconnect the negative pole of the battery for safety reasons, then remove the engine cover, and unscrew the air hose to make space. Remove the various electrical connectors connected to the device and unscrew all the screws that connect it to the intake manifold. If possible, completely immerse the valve in the specific cleaner: to remove the most stubborn deposits, use a soft bristle brush, and rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove any trace of detergent and residue. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth. We can now reposition the EGR valve.
