How to change the rear brake pads of the Renault Scenic III

In this video, we will see how to change the rear brake pads on the Renault Scenic III: we open the brake fluid reservoir cap, then lift the rear of the car and remove the rear wheels; remember to release the handbrake; if the car has an electronic handbrake, we need to put it in "maintenance mode"; unlock the brake caliper, then use a flat screwdriver to detach the caliper from its support, and remove the brake pads, then remove the anti-noise springs. Clean the support well with a wire brush. Push back the piston before installing the new brake pads; install the new anti-noise springs, then the new brake pads, then check the condition of the guide bushes and the rubber protection, in case they need to be replaced. We can put the caliper back in place, screwing in the bushes and closing with a torque wrench at 35 Nm. Repeat on the other side. If we have an electronic handbrake, we will need to reactivate it, after which we can put the wheels back on and lower the car.
