Replacing the rear brake pads on this model requires special care as the vehicle is equipped with an electric handbrake that engages automatically when the vehicle is turned off. To replace the pads, the first step is to disengage the handbrake by turning on the ignition and pressing the brake pedal while deactivating the handbrake using the appropriate button.

Once this is done, proceed to remove the wheel, the caliper, and replace the pads.

Before refitting the caliper, retract the piston using the specific tool that rotates it. At the end of the operation, pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
