How to replace the glass/mirror on the exterior mirror of the Renault Clio III.

Let's see how to replace the external rearview mirror of the Renault Clio III: this procedure refers to manual mirrors; however, for electric ones, the procedure is quite similar; you just need to disconnect the electrical connector as an additional step. Prepare the mirror by orienting the glass of the mirror downwards; insert a plastic lever between the glass and the black plastic structure, then gently pry it outward; use a second lever to keep the space open and unclip the other 4 hooks by prying along the entire perimeter. Once the glass is free, hold it in your hand and press the release lever to gently pull it off. Install the new glass by connecting the connector, align the new glass with the housing, and press in the center of the glass. Check that it is securely fixed on all sides, and if it is heated, check its functionality; the same goes for electric mirrors.
