Euro NCAP tested the Renault Kangoo Van in 2025, achieving an overall score of 4 stars out of 5. The lane keeping test was deemed effective; the system maintains the lane but only on straight roads or gentle curves. It is still considered "good" for the van category.

For cyclist avoidance, the test was conducted with a cyclist crossing from the right or slowly moving in front. The result is "average": it brakes, but at speeds above 40/50 km/h, the impact cannot be completely avoided.

Regarding pedestrian avoidance, the result is average/high: good daytime detection, slightly decreasing in low light conditions.
