Renault Arkana: How to Reset Tyre Pressure with the Inflation Kit

On the Renault Arkana, the inflation kit replaces the spare wheel and allows for the repair of only minor punctures, with a tread cut of less than 4 mm. Before using it, ensure that the damage falls within this limit and that the sidewall of the tyre is not damaged. After safely parking, position the kit near the flat tyre and prepare the compressor by connecting it to the sealant bottle following the instructions on the kit label. The delivery hose should then be screwed onto the tyre valve. Before inflating, check the label on the driver’s side door pillar for the recommended pressure for that tyre size: the manufacturer recommends not going below 1.8 bar, and during the use of the kit, the pressure should remain between 1.3 bar and the recommended value. By activating the compressor, the sealant is pushed into the tyre, and the tyre gradually regains pressure. Once the indicated value on the label is reached, you can remove the kit, close the valve, and resume driving at a moderate speed to ensure the sealant is evenly distributed inside the tyre.
