How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Renault Clio?

You can replace the timing belt on a Renault Clio by loosening the bolts that secure the front wheel to its housing and those that secure the corresponding wheel arch. At this point, you will be able to locate the belt on the side of the engine and loosen the nut that secures the tensioner pulley in its place. This will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing you to remove it from the respective pulleys. The new belt can now be installed and tensioned by reinstalling the tensioner pulley. Finally, remount the wheel.
