How to Replace the Glass of the External Rear-View Mirror on a Renault Megane

To replace the glass of the external rear-view mirror on a Renault Megane 3, electrically orient the mirror fully inwards to create space on the outer edge. Then switch off the ignition and carefully insert a plastic lever between the glass and the support. Gradually apply pressure at multiple points until the glass is released from the clips that secure it to the adjustment mechanism. Slowly pull it away without yanking, as there are electrical connections at the back. Disconnect the two terminals of the heating system and any additional connectors. Connect the terminals to the new glass, align it with the support, and gently press in the central area until you hear the clips engage. Turn on the ignition and finally check the electric adjustment and secure fitting of the mirror.
