Here’s how to remove the glass mounted on the external wing mirror of a Renault Megane. Using a plastic lever, pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the glass.

Keep prying until the glass detaches from the mirror and disconnect the power cable (this is a delicate operation as the glass may break). Press on the locking clips to disconnect the mirror cover, then replace the damaged glass with a new one. Ensure the plastic snap clips engage properly in the mirror supports.
