In this video we can see how to change the outer cover of the rearview mirror of a Renault Megane III: the operation is done on a mirror that has been removed from its seat, but with a little more delicacy we can also do it without removing it from the car. We remove the glass/mirror, moving it all to one side and then removing the electrical connectors; we pry the outer cover with a plastic spatula, so as not to damage anything, then we delicately fit the new cover onto the mirror frame. Now we can reconnect the electrical connectors and fit the glass mirror back in place.
