How to enter the radio code for a Renault

Let's see how to enter the radio code for a Renault. When the car battery is disconnected or discharged, the Renault radio requires security codes (usually written on a card with the manual). Start the car: the screen will display "CODE" or "0000". Use the numeric buttons 1-6 or the knobs to enter the 4 digits of the code. Confirm with the "ok" button. If the code is correct, the radio will start working. If the code is incorrect, wait 10/30 minutes with the radio on before trying again. After too many incorrect attempts, the radio may lock for hours.
