Let's see how to remove the mirror mounted in the exterior mirror shell of a Renault Scenic. With a plastic lever, we go to pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass of the same. We pry until the plastics come off the mirror (we disconnect the power cable); very delicate operation because the slide or the mirror itself could break. We always remove the mirror from the shell with the lever; we replace the damaged part with the new one. We are careful to engage the plastic snap clips in the mirror supports.
