How to change the gear knob on a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV - Years 2012-2019
Part: Shift knob

Replacing the gear knob of a Renault Clio. Let's see in this video how to disassemble the piece. With a plastic lever we disconnect the frame of the leather boot (if we need to replace it), take the knob in our hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. To carry out the assembly: take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel, tighten the same in the rod; we mount the new leather cap with clips. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod placed above the central tunnel.
