Replacing the Gear Knob on Renault Clio 4

To replace the gear knob on the Renault Clio 4, first enter the cabin. The first step is to detach the gaiter from the base of the gear knob. It may be glued, so take care to avoid tearing it. Pull it downwards until the knob is free. At this point, pull the knob upwards to remove it from its seat. It is secured tightly, so some force will be necessary. Now, position the new knob and secure it in place with a firm downward push using your hand. Replace the gaiter, possibly re-gluing it, and you're done!
