Replacing the gear knob of a Renault Clio. Follow this guide to remove the part. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it), take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the gear stick. For reassembly: take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console, tightening it onto the stick; fit the new leather gaiter with the clips. Finally, test the movement of the stick above the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
