Video tutorial

To change the engine oil and filter in a Renault Kangoo, park the vehicle on a level surface, switch off the engine, and allow the oil to cool. Open the bonnet, remove the dipstick, and unscrew the filler cap. Safely lift the vehicle and place a container under the sump.

Allow the used oil to drain completely. Then, locate the oil filter and remove it using the appropriate tool.

Lubricate the seal of the new filter with a small amount of oil and screw it on until it makes contact. Replace the drain plug seal, reattach it, and lower the vehicle.

Pour the specified amount of oil for the engine type through the filler neck and replace the cap. Start the engine for a few minutes, switch it off, and wait about 5 minutes. Check the level with the dipstick and top up if necessary.
