Continue prying until the mirror plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable); this operation is very delicate as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Unscrew the screws with a screwdriver to disconnect the mirror cover, replace the damaged part with a new one. Ensure the plastic locking clips engage properly in the mirror supports.
