Replace the Gear Knob on a Renault Megane

Is the gear knob on your Renault Megane due for replacement? Here’s how to remove it from the gearbox. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame, then grasp the knob and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear stick (apply a firm and decisive motion). To install the new knob, slide it onto the stick in the centre console and press it into place; fit the new leather gaiter with the clips, and secure the gaiter frame onto the centre console (snap the mounting clips into place).
