Replacing Key Battery on Renault Trafic

Is the Renault key battery flat? Here’s how to change the battery on a Trafic key. Take your remote key and, using a screwdriver, pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Separate the two plastic halves of the key and remove the worn battery, taking a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two halves of the remote by pressing them together until you hear a click. Check the proper functioning of the remote key. Press the buttons on the key and see if the signal works.
