How to change the battery on a Renault Trafic MK3
Model: Renault Trafic
- Years 2014-2026
Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - In the video, the battery is replaced on a Renault Trafic MK3. The battery is located under the driver's seat, not in the engine compartment. Lift the mat, unscrew the four screws of the access panel, and remove the cover. To disconnect the terminals, use a 10 mm spanner: first the negative, then the positive. Unscrew the bolt of the fixing bracket with a 13 mm socket (note: the nut underneath may spin freely, in which case hold it steady with pliers). Remove the old battery, clean the bracket and terminals. Install the new battery (type EFB 70 Ah, start-stop) and reconnect the positive first, then the negative. Tighten the bracket. An important tip: if there is an IBS sensor on the negative terminal, the battery must be EFB or AGM, not a standard one. After installation, start the engine and check the alternator with a tester: it should charge between 14.2 and 14.5 V; in the video, it charged 14.9-15 V, which is slightly high.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?
To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel. by ScegliAuto More videos
