The airbag is an important component for passenger safety, so if the airbag has faults that prevent it from deploying in the event of an accident, a warning light on the dashboard indicates that the component must be replaced or that there may be a fault in the control circuit.

To reset this warning light, you need to act on the vehicle's control unit, or the problem may lie in a faulty connector.

To restore the circuit, release the connector lock and separate it. Using a deoxidising and anti-moisture spray, clean the contacts thoroughly. After the repair, it is necessary to reset the warning light; otherwise, it will remain illuminated, indicating a malfunction.

After the reset, check that the warning light stays off permanently.
