Airbag Warning Light Check and Reset

The airbag is an important component for passenger safety, so if the airbag has faults that prevent it from deploying in the event of an accident, a warning light on the dashboard indicates that the component must be replaced or that there may be a fault in the control circuit. To reset this warning light, you need to act on the vehicle's control unit, or the problem may lie in a faulty connector. To restore the circuit, release the connector lock and separate it. Using a deoxidising and anti-moisture spray, clean the contacts thoroughly. After the repair, it is necessary to reset the warning light; otherwise, it will remain illuminated, indicating a malfunction. After the reset, check that the warning light stays off permanently.
