How to Replace the Cigarette Lighter on a Renault Megane?

To replace the cigarette lighter on a Renault Megane, first remove its corresponding fuse. This is located in the designated box on the side of the glove compartment on the passenger side.

Once the fuse is removed, lift the gear knob cover and remove the cigarette lighter from inside, disconnecting the connector. After disconnecting the connector, the old cigarette lighter can be reinserted into its housing and connected to the connector.

After installation, you can also reinsert the fuse.
