To remove the external rear-view mirror on the Renault Clio, you need to slide off the triangular plastic cover located near the mirror. At this point, loosen all the screws and bolts underneath so that the mirror can be slid off from the outside, passing the lever through the designated hole.

Once the old mirror has been removed, you can replace it with a new spare part. This should be secured in its housing with the appropriate bolts, and then the triangular plastic cover should be repositioned.
