How to Open the Key Fob and Change the Battery on a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio Clio IV, MK 4, Clio 4 - Years 2012-2019

To open the key fob of a Renault Clio and remove or change the battery, first remove the key blade by pressing the button on the side of the fob and pulling it out. Insert a small screwdriver where the key blade was, lever it to lift the circular part, and locate the battery, which you can lift out with the same screwdriver. Take the new battery out of its packaging and insert it in place of the old one, close the circular part, and reinsert the key blade until you hear a click. You can then test the new battery.
