Replacing the Gearbox Mount and Modification

If during starting and stopping or while the engine is under load, the gear lever oscillates significantly and a strong vibration is felt, the cause is likely due to the failure of the mount connecting the gearbox to the chassis. Specifically, the rubber of the silent block is damaged and, due to deterioration, fails to absorb vibrations. Replacing the mount is very simple (there are only two bolts to unscrew) and obtaining the replacement part is equally straightforward, even in the aftermarket. The video also shows a modification of the new mount to make it even more durable: pieces of rubber are inserted into the free spaces of the new mount (which can be salvaged from the old one) and secured with silicone.
