Once all the plastic covering elements have been removed, it is possible to access the handbrake lever mechanism consisting of a series of tie rods, a ratchet mechanism and the switch to signal the activation status of the device. It is therefore necessary to disconnect the button, remove the tie rods and fixing pins in order to remove the old lever and install the new one: pay attention to the adjustment of the tie rods.
