Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

Once you open the front bonnet, remove the plastic cover located above the engine: the air filter housing is the box situated right at the top of the engine; to replace the filter, you need to remove this box to open it. Disconnect the intake duct connected to the front of the box, and the one at the rear, disconnect the mass air sensor connector, and proceed to dismantle the box by unscrewing the relevant fixing screws and pulling it sideways to the left to extract it. Once on the bench, simply unscrew the screws holding the two components together, remove the old filter, and insert the new one.
