One of the tasks to perform during a service on a Renault Clio is replacing the air filter that supplies the engine. To do this, open the bonnet and locate the filter box between the engine cover and the battery.

Start by moving the coolant reservoir pipe, then detach the inlet hose from the box. Using a 10mm spanner, undo the two screws that secure the cover to open it. Remove the old filter element and insert a new one, close the cover and secure it with its screws, reposition the coolant pipe, and reconnect the air intake hose.
