The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the windscreen: open the front bonnet, pull the seal from the rear edge, unclip the plastic protective grille, and remove the cap of the cabin air filter container (it is secured with two screws); then extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, insert the new filter respecting the airflow direction, and reposition the cap, securing it with the respective screws; finally, reassemble the plastic grille and the seal.

When replacing the cabin air filter, it is also advisable to sanitise the cabin with a suitable germicidal spray.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?
