In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the gear knob in the Renault Clio, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we go inside the car, then we detach the gear lever boot from its base. We then grip the gear knob, rotate it in both directions and, at the same time, pull it strongly towards us. Once removed from the lever, we can separate it from the boot, fix the latter to the replacement, using a plastic tie if necessary, and follow the reverse procedure. If necessary, we can use a large pair of pliers to facilitate the removal process.
