Here’s how to change the cabin filter on the Renault Megane III: the cabin filter (which becomes a pollen filter if made of carbon) is located under the glove compartment, in a slightly awkward position, but it is not necessary to remove the glove compartment to access it. Under the glove compartment, you will find a compartment secured with two screws.

Remove these screws, take off the cover, and extract the dirty filter.

Before inserting the new filter, clean the compartment thoroughly with a blast of compressed air to remove all dirt. This filter costs £9.18 on Amazon, plus £3.99 for delivery.

When inserting the new filter, ensure the arrows point downwards. Close the cover, and the job is complete.
