How to change the thermostat on a Renault Megane III

In this video we see how to change the thermostat of a Megane RS, which is comparable to a Megane III: we remove the tube from the air inlet, slide out the control unit, disconnect the negative and then the positive pole of the battery and remove it from its housing. We will also have to remove the container in which it is normally housed. Under the air inlet we will find the thermostat. We recommend the replacement part for a regular Megane III, which can be found on auto-doc. It with the code 316T0172 at a price of 19.34 euros, + 9.90 euros for shipping costs. We replace the part with its gasket and then put back all the pieces we removed, in reverse.
