Replacement of Front Suspension Wishbone

Model: Renault Scenic Scenic 2, MK 2 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Suspension system

To replace the front suspension wishbone, lift the vehicle on a ramp and start by removing the front wheel and the wheel arch liner; then remove the nut securing the tie rod end from the hub support and extract the tie rod end itself; move on to the wishbone's tie rod end and, before accessing the fixing pins of the wishbone to the engine cradle, lower the connecting crossmember, supporting it with a jack; once the fixing pins are removed, it is possible to take out the old wishbone and install the new one by reversing the process.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
