Detailed instructions - This brief video tutorial shows the necessary steps to reset the handbrake on a second-generation Renault Scenic, produced from 2003 to 2009. First, insert the key and briefly press the ignition button to turn on the vehicle's instrument cluster without starting the engine. Now, with the passenger door open, remove the key and hold down the lock button together with the start button for about five seconds. Once done, the handbrake light will start to flash. At the same time, press and pull the handbrake button and lever to complete the reset.
