Engine Air Filter Replacement

Periodically replace the engine air filter to enhance performance and fuel efficiency, ensuring the engine receives the correct amount of air. The air filter box is located at the rear right of the engine compartment (when viewed from the front), near the battery. Disconnect the metal clips securing the cover to lift it and remove the old filter. Clean any dirt inside the box and insert the new filter, ensuring the seal fits snugly against the edge before refitting the cover and securing it with the clips.

To replace the rear light and bulbs on a Ford Focus 2000/2004, first, open the tailgate of the boot. This gives access to the screw that holds the rear light in place. The screw to undo (using an appropriate screwdriver) is located inside the light and corresponds to the fold that accommodates the tailgate (as shown in the images).
