Replacing the Tie Rod End of the Steering Rack
Model: Renault Scenic
- Years 1996-2003
If you hear a noise coming from the front wheels, especially when starting to steer, it is likely that a ball joint at the end of the steering rack tie rod has failed. To replace the tie rod end, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel to gain more working space. Before loosening the nut that secures the tie rod end, it is advisable to loosen the lock nut. Next, remove the nut and use a fork-type puller to extract the tie rod end, unscrewing it while counting the number of turns, and then screw in the new tie rod end the same number of turns, securing it with the lock nut and fastening it to the hub support. At the end of the installation, check the alignment.

How to Remove the Diesel Filter from a Peugeot 207
Lift the bonnet; remove the soundproofing panel from the engine and locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts (a spanner can also be used) near the container where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, disconnect the circulation hoses and take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet afterwards. by ScegliAuto More videos
