Renault Scenic - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Scenic - Years 1996-2003
Part: Bushings
Operation: Replacement of anti-roll bar bushing

If you hear noise coming from the front of the car, especially when driving on bumpy roads, it is likely that a bushing of the anti-roll bar may have given out; to be able to replace it, lift the car on the bridge, unscrew the fixing pins of the plate that houses the bushing and remove it from the bar (the bushing has a cut that allows it to come out of the bar); insert the new one and then secure it with the plate and relative pins. It is good practice to replace both bushings of the bar to ensure the right stiffness of the same and to avoid a new replacement in the short term.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
