How to Replace the Stabiliser Bar Links on Renault Scenic II

Let’s see how to replace the stabiliser bar links on the Renault Scenic II: lift the car and remove the wheel from the side you are working on. Unscrew the two bolts of the links (on the stabiliser bar and on the suspension arm: they are often rusted, so it is necessary to spray some WD-40 and wait a few minutes. To remember the position of the links, take a photo before disassembling them. Insert the new links, lubricate the pins of the new links with lithium grease to make them last longer. Screw in the bolts, first by hand and then tighten them with a torque wrench (torque to 40/50 Nm). Perform a final check by shaking the stabiliser bar to ensure everything is secure. Take a short test drive to check for any unusual noises.
