Repairing Corroded Bodywork with Fibreglass

Model: Renault 19 MK 1 - Years 1988-1997
Part: Body

The use of fibreglass to repair bodywork should be reserved for those parts of the body that are made from this material; when the bodywork has areas corroded by rust, a panel beating job should be carried out by removing the corroded section and shaping new metal to weld and finish with filler before painting. However, if aesthetic quality is not a major concern, you can brush the area and apply fibreglass pieces fixed with the appropriate catalysed gel; once dry, you can sand and paint.

How to Change the Cabin Filter on an Opel Mokka

Learn how to change the cabin filter fitted in the Opel Mokka. Open the glove compartment and disconnect the plastic guides (located on the sides of the drawer if present), unscrew the pins around the perimeter of the drawer; rotate the glove compartment forward, pull off the cover cap, and remove the air filter from its housing as shown in the video. Once this is done, insert the new ventilation filter into the filter holder (ensure the filter is inserted correctly without bending it). Finally, refit the cover of the box along with all the components of the glove compartment as they were removed earlier.
