How to Remove the Wing Mirror and Front Door Panel

This video tutorial explains how to remove the wing mirror and front door panel for replacement. To remove the wing mirror, you must completely take off the door trim. Start by using a plastic trim tool to pry off the hard plastic parts. Using a Torx 20 socket, unscrew the screws securing the panel, one of which is hidden behind the door handle. First, remove the door control panel and then the clip in the centre that secures the trim. Now, loosen the upper side screw of the trim and pry it off at the lock height. The door cover is held in place by a clip that releases when pressed. Once the panel is removed, you can disconnect the light connector, allowing you to disconnect the wiring from the mirror. Remove the screw and its three nuts from the end of the mirror and take it off. Before reassembling everything, check that the trim clips are not broken, and then reverse the process to reassemble.
