This guide shows how to remove the plastic shell of the external rear-view mirror on a Renault Scenic Mk4. After fully extending the mirror, use a small flathead screwdriver to pry in the gap between the mirror glass and the plastic shell. At this point, detach the black plastic sheet at the bottom of the mirror to expose the clips securing the plastic trim panel. It may be helpful to pull the plastic cover with one hand during this operation. Once the securing clips are released, you can remove the cover.
