How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Renault

Replacing the battery in a Renault key fob is very simple. Before starting, ensure you have a new battery of the correct type, which is a flat CR 2035, and a small flat-head screwdriver. Take the key fob and pull the small lever on the back of the casing to extract the metal key inside. Now, take a flat-head screwdriver and insert it into the gap at the bottom edge of the fob, prying along all edges until the casing opens; proceed to extract and replace the battery.
