To replace the front shock absorbers, first obtain the appropriate clamps to compress the spring; before lifting the vehicle, remove the wiper blades and the plastic grille under the windscreen to access the shock absorber mounts; then remove the fixing nut before lifting the vehicle and completing the disassembly of the shock absorber from the hub support; apply the clamps to compress the spring and remove the support from the shaft; fit the new shock absorber with the dust cover, spring, and support to be fixed to the shaft before releasing the clamps; reverse the process for installation back onto the vehicle.
