How do you adjust the handbrake of the Renault Clio?

Model: Renault Clio Clio IV, MK 4, Clio 4 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Parking brake

In order to adjust the handbrake of the Renault Clio, you need to lift the car with a jack or a lift, so that the right rear wheel is removed from its housing: after removing the wheel, it will be possible to completely remove the corresponding brake drum as well. Once the drum is removed, you can locate the brake shoes inside it: at their center, there will be a bolt that allows you to adjust the intensity of the handbrake. By tightening it, the handbrake will become harder and have a shorter travel, while loosening it will increase the travel and reduce the hardness.
